Job summary

Sheridan is seeking a Small Machine Operator who will initially be trained to set up, operate, and tend a range of manufacturing machines for producing high-quality book components. You will review instructions, load materials, adjust settings, and monitor processes to prevent defects while following safety rules.

The role includes providing training to junior operators and participating in process improvements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tend various machines as assigned.
• Review work orders and specifications to determine machine settings.
• Start machines and adjust settings as needed for production.
• Load materials and monitor operations for issues.
• Inspect equipment and report defects or malfunctions.
• Provide training to hand operators and assist with process improvements.
