Job summary

DIRECTV is seeking an Installation Technician to install and repair equipment for our voice, data and video services. You’ll work inside or out, educate customers on features, verify service functionality, and handle installations with a focus on safety and quality.

Expect to travel as required and lift up to 80 pounds, with robust benefits including medical/dental coverage, 401(k), tuition reimbursement and PTO. A base hourly rate plus bonus and benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills to educate customers on features and functionality of services.
• Ability to work independently and deliver best-in-class service.

Responsibilities

• Install and service satellite equipment at customer sites.
• Educate customers on service features and functionality.
• Verify services work and demonstrate, sell and bill video service.
• Perform work in various parts of buildings including attics/basements; safely use ladder access.
