Job summary

ZAGG Inc. in Midvale, UT is seeking a Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and the accounting team.

This on-site role reports to the CFO and is responsible for the close process, consolidated reporting, internal controls, audits, and policy implementations across a global multi-entity business. The ideal candidate has extensive US GAAP experience, CPA preferred, and a track record of building strong teams while improving processes and financial robustness.

Qualifications

• CPA or active license preferred; strong US GAAP knowledge.
• 8+ years of accounting experience with progressive responsibilities.
• Experience leading accounting teams and managing close processes.
• Strong Excel and analytical capabilities; familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead GL, AP, AR, and financial reporting; set ownership and performance standards.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close; oversee reconciliations and issues.
• Oversee global consolidation, intercompany, and currency accounting with international teams.
• Ensure US GAAP-compliant financial statements and disclosures; communicate risks to leadership.
• Drive policy development, documentation, and remediation of control gaps.
