Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and 1–2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal accounts within assigned territory to promote written premium growth and favorable loss ratios.
• Evaluate, price, and bind policies within authority; refer overages for approval.
• Develop and manage agency relationships through visits and regular contact.
• Monitor production metrics and agency performance; recommend improvements.
• Coordinate loss control, claims, audit, and billing services as needed.
• Communicate underwriting policies and goals to agents.
• Maintain workflow standards and pursue process improvements.
• Demonstrate commitment to self-development.
• Other duties as assigned.
