Job summary

Skyline Construction Services is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to independently manage multiple high‑impact projects in the Pacific Northwest, from contract award to closeout.

You’ll control budgets, schedules, procurement, and field coordination while maintaining safety and quality standards; you’ll report to leadership and have a direct impact on margins and project profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant commercial construction experience with project management responsibility.
• Ability to independently manage multiple active commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost forecasting, scheduling, and financial management.
• Experience with change orders, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage multiple commercial construction projects from contract award through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, procurement plans, and manpower forecasts.
• Coordinate with general contractors, superintendents, field teams, and suppliers to stay on track.
• Identify scheduling conflicts, scope gaps, and project challenges early.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Skyline's quality standards.
• Take ownership of project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and profitability.
• Monitor labor productivity and material costs; analyze overall financial performance.
• Evaluate risks, negotiate change orders, and manage procurement within delegated authority.
• Identify, price, negotiate, and manage change orders.
• Prepare and manage progress billings, cost projections, and closeout.
