• Successful completion of an on the job or formal education/training program in bone densitometry.

Responsibilities

• The Bone Density Tech provides direct patient care by performing bone density scans and reviews scans for content and quality.
• This position is also responsible for ensuring the scan equipment is functioning properly and performs various administrative responsibilities for the department (answering phones, scheduling appointments, obtaining prior authorizations, filing and photocopying).
