Qualifications

  • ARRT-R and BD licenses preferred.
  • 0–1 year hospital/clinical radiology experience required; 1–2 years densitometry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares patients for procedures by explaining processes, answering questions and coordinating schedule issues.
  • Performs scans, reviews findings to determine appropriate tests and recommends alternative scan sites.
  • Oversees lab operation and maintenance of densitometer, computer equipment and patient records.
  • Coordinates with pharmaceutical companies on the specifics of protocols and recordkeeping.
  • Maintains laboratory cleanliness and inventory.
