Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures for inpatients, outpatients, or ED patients. You will operate radiographic equipment, ensure patient safety, and coordinate with radiologists and the care team.

Responsibilities include confirming patient and exam, explaining procedures, and maintaining accurate records and PACS transmission. ARRT credentials preferred; 0–1 year experience acceptable.

Qualifications

• ARRT-eligible or ARRT credential preferred; must be registered or eligible within 90 days of hire.
• Education: Radiography certificate/diploma; associate degree preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English; strong communication and patient interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient and exam prior to imaging; review patient history and records.
• Explain exams and safety protocols to patients, considering language needs.
• Adjust and operate radiographic equipment per protocol and radiologist orders.
• Perform imaging procedures and ensure correct labeling and PACS transmission.
