Job summary

Hexcel seeks a SP/Bond Operator for its Pottsville, PA location. You will read and follow instructions, record real-time data, and verify product tolerances with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities include inspecting and setting up hand and power tools, operating various equipment to meet production goals, and training on additional machinery as needed to support manufacturing targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with small hand and power tools preferred.
• Experience with handheld scanners and MRP/inventory systems preferred.
• Must be an active Quality Delegate or able to pass.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow written and verbal work instructions and record data in real time.
• Verify product tolerances using measuring devices (protractors, scales, calipers, micrometers etc.).
• Inspect and set up hand and power tools (band saw, router, sander, etc.).
• Operate and train on equipment to meet production goals (roll formers, heated platen presses, IR ovens, etc.).
• Bonders will train on equipment to meet production goals (die presses, ply-cutter, IR ovens, etc.).
