Job summary

Role Summary

The Bill of Materials Specialist is responsible for overseeing the development of BOMs and their execution within the ERP planning and manufacturing systems. This position interfaces between internal teams and co-packers to ensure a clear understanding of our product requirements. Products include collectible trading cards and non-sports entertainment toys/novelties.

Responsibilities:

1. Development of all Bills of Material (BOMs) within Excel template and/or secondary platforms using Brand Team's product descriptions / notes.
2. Responsible for the execution and completion of Brand requirements from planning to print.
3. Actively communicate across all business units to effectively coordinate planning operations between Brand Management and Project Management.
4. Ensure all new items are set up in Oracle properly and meet all timelines required throughout the development, purchasing and sales processes.
5. Ensure that product BOMs are developed on time and accurately to support in-system RFQs, manufacturing and costing.
6. Assist Department Manager in development of process improvements for the product specification, BOM, and ERP manufacturing processes.
7. Responsible for managing specific product groups as assigned by Planning Lead and possess system discipline from BOM creation to closure.

Skills and Experience Required

1. 3+ years of experience product planning or manufacturing using BOMs for complex products is preferred.
2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
3. Excellent Excel knowledge and skills, including lookups and data validation.
4. Hands-on experience managing complex data with high levels of accuracy.
5. Strong team player with ownership mindset.
6. Proven ability to multi-task, juggle multiple projects and effectively determine priorities.
7. Strong math background and numerical reasoning skills.
8. Working knowledge of print manufacturing processes and technology a plus.

The salary range represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. This salary range is specific to New York City and may not be applicable to other locations. $77,500-$91,550 USD
