Job summary

Gables Search Group seeks an experienced ERP Manager to lead BOM accuracy, maintenance, and data governance across product lifecycles. You will coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to ensure cost control and production readiness.

The role emphasizes strong ERP/MRP expertise, BOM configurations, and change control processes, with a focus on improving data integrity and cross-functional workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• Five+ years of experience in BOM management, engineering documentation, product data management, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; Epicor 2024.2 experience is a plus.
• Experience with PLM systems and engineering change processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical skills, including evaluating complex product structures and BOM configurations.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy across multiple systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and validate Bills of Materials for new and existing products, including assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Oversee the creation, entry, and maintenance of component part records within ERP systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), product revisions, and BOM updates to ensure timely implementation.
• Maintain reliable product structure and material data across enterprise systems, aligning engineering documentation with manufacturing needs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to resolve discrepancies and improve readiness.
• Support product costing and material cost analysis by maintaining accurate BOM data.
• Evaluate Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory and assist with disposition decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve BOM accuracy and streamline workflows.
