Job summary

Sigma Design is seeking an Engineering Coordinator – BOM Specialist to coordinate BOMs, manage ERP/PLM data, and support cross-functional teams across engineering and procurement. The role focuses on accuracy of BOMs, revisions, and reporting to keep projects on schedule.

The position requires ERP experience (NetSuite preferred), strong Excel and VBA skills, and clear communication. Hybrid work arrangement after 30 days, with 2–4 days in-office as needed. Day shift, Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP solutions, preferably NetSuite.
• Familiarity with PLM, preferably Bild.
• Strong Excel skills; VBA experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain BOMs in ERP, ensuring correct part numbers and quantities.
• Audit BOM data for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate BOM revisions with other departments as needed.
• Use ERP for part item creation, modification and maintenance.
• Generate BOM reports and analyze data to spot trends and improvements.
• Support PLM admin tasks and reconcile PLM/ERP data.
• Act as liaison between engineering, procurement and project management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in BOM and procurement.
