Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Boise ID Yard. You will combine product knowledge, sales expertise, and outstanding service to help customers complete projects from decks to sheds.

Build relationships, resolve issues, and promote solutions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assisting customers in person, by phone, and by email; preparing estimates; processing orders; and coordinating deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of sales, retail, customer service, or related experience.
• Preferred: experience in building materials or construction industries.
• Knowledge of estimating materials for residential projects and equipment handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers in person, by phone, and via email.
• Answer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, and returns.
• Guide customers in selecting products and solutions for their needs.
• Build positive relationships through professional, responsive service.
• Promote and sell company products, services, and related solutions.
• Prepare material estimates and project quotes for small construction projects.
