Job summary

Maxim Crane Works, LP is seeking a experienced Crane Mechanic to join our Boise, Idaho team. The position focuses on inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing crane systems—from bodies to engines, electrical and hydraulic components.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of mechanical crane experience (Liebherr, Tadano, Manitowoc preferred), proficiency with diesel/gas/propane engines, and the ability to read blueprints and follow OEM specifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years mechanical experience with cranes required (Liebherr, Tadano and Manitowoc preferred).
• Experience with diesel, gasoline, and propane engines.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on crane systems and components.
• Inspects and diagnoses mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Operates and tests machinery to verify proper operation after repair.
• Repairs, rewires and replaces damaged or worn parts on vehicles and equipment.
• Maintains safety and compliance with OEM specifications.
