Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting Boilermaker opportunity at Arnold AFB TN, supporting TOS II in an integrated team. The role involves operating and maintaining test facilities and working a shift determined by workload priorities. Must be prepared to work any shift.

The position requires 4 years of heavy metal fabrication and boiler making, ASME IX welding qualifications, and U.S. citizenship for security clearance. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of boiler making and metal fabrication work.
• Welding qualification per ASME IX: E7018 on 1/2” plate (A36).
• Must obtain security clearance and AEDC network.
• English reading/writing to safely understand manuals and procedures.
• U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance.
• Valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test facility equipment for operations.
• Prepare test article for testing.
• Install test article and verify installations.
• Troubleshoot equipment, test articles, and installations.
• Operate plant equipment during tests.
• Assist in tests and remove test articles after testing.
• Install and maintain heavy ducting systems, heat exchangers, and condensers.
• Perform maintenance to keep test facility equipment in operation.
• Wear PPE as directed by supervision and policy.
• Perform other duties as required.
