Job summary
Thompson Construction Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to fabricate, assemble, maintain, and repair steam-generating boilers and boiler tube systems.
You will work with high-pressure boilers, perform welding, and conduct inspections to ensure safe plant operations. The role requires hands-on experience with boiler tubes, tubes rolling, and boiler inspections, with adherence to OSHA, ASME, and company safety standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with steam-generating boilers and related systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with ASME codes, safety procedures, and device calibration.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, maintain, and repair steam-generating boilers and related equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals to guide work.
- Tubes, drums, headers fabrication and boiler tube replacement.
- Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks with torches and tools.
- Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and tests.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality controls.
