Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. is seeking a Boiler/Refrigeration Technician to maintain and troubleshoot boilers and refrigeration systems at our Richland Center facility. The position offers a night shift (8 or 12 hours) with weekends required and a sign-on bonus of $5,000.

Earn up to $41.13 per hour depending on qualifications and shift. Responsibilities include identifying wear on air compressors and boilers, performing system checks, and improving preventive maintenance while complying with safety

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting boilers and refrigeration systems.
• Ammonia 1 certification and/or Boiler 1 certification or higher is a plus.
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork required.

A Boiler/Refrigeration Technician will be responsible to maintain and troubleshoot the boilers and refrigeration systems.

What you’ll do

• Identify and correct mechanical wear of the air compressors and boilers
• Identify root cause for failure and improve preventive maintenance of the systems
• Perform all required system checks
• Comply with safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements

What you need to succeed

• Ammonia 1 Certification and or Boiler 1 certification or higher a plus
• We are seeking candidates with previous experience working with boilers and ammonia systems
• Positive attitude and a team player

What’s the shift?

Night shift 8 or 12 hour - Weekends are required

What’s the pay?

This position will pay up to $41.13 per hour (depending on qualifications and shift)
