Qualifications

• Must possess a 3rd Class Stationary Engineer License for Ohio.
• 2–5 years of related experience in stationary engineering or industrial utilities.
• Experience operating steam boilers and boiler-related systems.
• Strong understanding of generators, turbines, compressors, motors, and steam systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor steam boilers, generators, turbines, compressors, motors, and other stationary equipment to maintain reliable plant utilities and power.
• Perform routine boiler and utility system inspections and monitor gauges, temperature, pressure, water levels, fuel use, and generator balance.
• Conduct boiler chemistry analysis and support boiler plant start-up and shut-down activities.
• Troubleshoot equipment and controls, adjust systems, switch to backups, and safely shut down when needed.
• Maintain accurate operating logs, work orders, and maintenance records using systems such as Maximo.
