Job summary

Trinity Health MI is seeking a Boiler Operator for the night shift to operate and maintain boiler systems, emergency generators, HVAC and mechanical equipment. The role includes preventative and corrective maintenance, parts procurement, plumbing repairs and general maintenance tasks.

3rd shift (10:00pm–6:30am) Monday through Friday with weekends/holidays scheduled per the CBA. Prior boiler operation and safety training preferred; valid MI driver's license required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with formal training in basic electrical or electronic theory preferred.
• Boiler Operator license preferred.
• Maritime or powerhouse experience with boiler operation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of equipment methods and materials used in boiler operation to include but not limited to electrical systems, pneumatic control circuits.
• Knowledge of OSHA and MIOSHA safety standards.
• Ability to operate power tools and complex test equipment.
• Valid Michigan driver's license.
• Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of the organization.
