Job summary

CarePoint Health Management Associates is seeking an experienced industrial boiler operator for their Hospital's Power Plant in Hoboken, New Jersey. You will operate and monitor essential systems that provide heating, air conditioning, and steam. Candidates must have a High School diploma, a Blue Seal Fireman License, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

Operates and monitors the Hospital’s Power Plant with regard to essential systems which provide Heating, Air Conditioning, and Steam. Maintains an efficient environment by measuring Fuel Levels. Performs sample analysis and safety testing. Uses specialized knowledge to determine preventive maintenance and equipment service needs. Maintains log and records as required.

What We’re Looking For

Education: High School Graduate. Blue Seal Fireman License. Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, DEP, EPA, and other applicable State and Federal Regulations including Safety.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience as industrial boiler operator.

Skills: Good communication skills, ability to interpret technical data, 20/20 correctable vision and ability to operate Hospital Power Plant.
