Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Boiler Operator to operate boiler and chiller plant systems and perform routine tests and maintenance to meet safety and quality standards. The role requires reporting to the Chief Boiler Operator and is based on site at Saint Francis Hospital.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, completion of an approved course in high pressure steam boiler operations, and a current Fireman License with the City of Wilmington.

• Responds to boiler and chiller plant emergencies according to operating instructions.
• Conducts cleaning of plant spaces, equipment, and piping.
• Reports to Chief Boiler Operator.
• Other duties as assigned
