Job summary

CarePoint Health Management Associates in Hoboken, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Boiler Operator to operate and monitor the Hospital’s Power Plant systems for Heating, Air Conditioning, and Steam. You will maintain an efficient environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industrial boiler operating experience and a Blue Seal Fireman License. CarePoint offers competitive pay, medical benefits, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an industrial boiler operator.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, DEP, EPA, and other applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Hospital’s Power Plant for Heating, Air Conditioning, and Steam.
• Maintain log and records as required.
• Perform sample analysis and safety testing.

Skills

Good communication skills

Ability to interpret technical data

Ability to operate Hospital Power Plant

20/20 correctable vision

Education

High School Graduate with Blue Seal Fireman License

What You'll Be Doing

Operates and monitors the Hospital’s Power Plant with regard to essential systems which provide Heating, Air Conditioning, and Steam. Maintains an efficient environment by measuring Fuel Levels. Performing sample analysis and safety testing. Uses specialized knowledge to determine preventive maintenance and equipment service needs. Maintains log and records as required.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as industrial boiler operator.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, DEP, EPA, and other applicable State and Federal Regulations including Safety.

Skills:

• Good communication skills
• Ability to interpret technical data
• 20/20 correctable vision
• Ability to operate Hospital Power Plant.

Education:

• High School Graduate. Blue Seal Fireman License.
