SSC Services for Education is hiring a Boiler Maintenance Technician at Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC. This full-time role requires prior boiler experience and involves operating, repairing, and maintaining boilers and related systems in the maintenance department.

Expect a Sunday through Thursday schedule with hours that may vary. Training and growth opportunities are provided along with a comprehensive benefits package and same-day pay options.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Technician in a similar sized institution.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Apprentice card from the State in plumbing, electrical, HVAC or relevant trade.
• General understanding of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor.

Responsabilités

• Operate, repair, maintain boilers, turbines, pumps, compressors, water lines, steam lines, valves, and related systems.
• Update work statuses and document tasks in CMMS.
• Inspect and adjust fluids and equipment for safe operation.
• Record daily readings and ensure boiler room cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
