Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Lumber Mill in Diboll, Texas seeks a Loader Operator for the Boiler department to safely load bio-mass fuel, transport materials, and maintain housekeeping around the boiler area. The role reports to the Boiler Supervisor and requires operating automated systems and mobile equipment.

You will perform fuel handling, boiler control monitoring, and routine maintenance tasks while documenting readings and start/stop times to ensure smooth boiler operations and reliable production in

Qualifications

• Experience with automated operating systems.
• Experience with operating mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent flow of fuel and bark through the fuel processing system.
• Clean fuel grates in the boiler furnace daily.
• Conduct pre-shift checklist on all mobile equipment used every shift.
• Keep accurate daily log books.
• Properly operate the boiler to start up and shut down procedures.
• Monitor boiler controls and make adjustments as necessary.
• Perform and document daily water tests and control chemical levels.
• Perform hourly inspections/readings on boiler components and systems.
• Document kiln start/stop times and periodic maintenance actions.
• Complete boiler preventative maintenance checklist.
