Job summary

Georgia-Pacific has an opening for a Heavy Equipment Operator in the Boiler department at our CORRIGAN, TX Plywood Mill. If you are motivated by working with your hands, learning new and exciting tasks, and working with teammates toward a common goal, this may be the job for you!

This will be a rotating shift. Must be able to work both days and nights. Selected applicant may train on any shift. Pay is expected to be $25/hr.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment moving materials.
• Minimum 3 years of work history in manufacturing, industrial, military, construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate front end loader and fuel truck to manage boiler fuel supplies and maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and systems.
• Demonstrate ongoing learning to safely operate and maintain boiler systems.
• Complete basic repairs and support powerhouse operations as needed.
