Job summary

Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation seeks a skilled heating, plumbing and facilities technician to maintain heating systems, drainage, boilers, fire protection, and sewage lift systems. The role includes relief shift work for operation and monitoring of all described systems.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent with journeyman plumbing/mechanical skills; six years boiler experience and five years plumbing; knowledge of PC operations and ability to read mechanical plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; journeyman level plumbing/mechanical skills.
• Six years boiler experience; five years general plumbing; at least one year radiant heat/furnaces experience.
• Knowledge of PC operations; ability to read mechanical plans; ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heating systems, water drainage systems, boilers and fire protection systems.
• Monitor operation of facilities and provide relief shift coverage as needed.
• Assist in responding to facility-related issues and repairs.
