Job summary

Hunton Services, a division of Hunton Group in Houston, TX, is seeking an experienced Boiler Field Supervisor. This hands-on leader oversees the boiler service team, provides technical guidance, and ensures safe, efficient and high-quality work.

Responsibilities include directing daily boiler technician activities, coordinating with the Area Service Manager, planning large quoted jobs, and mentoring staff while maintaining safety and contract performance.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in commercial/industrial boiler service.
• Prior lead technician or supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Boiler-related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily boiler technicians and report progress to Area Service Manager.
• Schedule critical calls, inspections, and customer commitments.
• Plan larger quoted jobs, site surveys, labor, and materials.
• Perform weekly quality-control inspections and preventive maintenance audits.
• Review service reports and identify corrective actions.
• Mentor technicians and support onboarding and training.
• Develop onboarding process for new technicians.
• Meet with Area Service Manager weekly to review performance.
• Engage with customers and strengthen relationships.
• Communicate updates on manufacturers, safety, and technical changes.
• Partner with Sales on repair and service opportunities.
• Understand WennSoft and service financials.
• Maintain monthly billable utilization target of 50%.
• Participate in performance reviews and recruiting.
• Promote cooperation across teams.
• Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
