Job summary

Preferred Utilities Manufacturing Corporation, in Danbury, CT, seeks a Boiler Mechanic to service and install boiler and burner systems across a regional travel schedule. The role emphasizes technical knowledge of PLCs, combustion, fuel oil systems, and customer interaction to uphold company standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or trade school background, 2 years of field service experience, and willingness to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or trade school education preferred.
2 years of field service experience required.
Willingness to travel 75% (Preferred).
Strong knowledge of boilers, burner management, combustion and fuel oil systems.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to customers and staff.
Complete daily Service Reports as per policy.
Access company servers to upload/download documentation and prints.
Install, start-up and service equipment in line with company standards and codes.
Promote maintenance contracts and spare parts sales.
Configure and program controls as directed by engineering and supply updated configurations.
Provide feedback through service and QC reports to engineering.
Perform electrical troubleshooting on boiler and fuel oil control systems.
