Job summary

Vicinity Energy in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Operator Maintenance Technician to safely operate boilers, refrigeration systems and related equipment across our cooling facilities. You will monitor plant operations, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with basic maintenance tasks to support reliable service at customer locations.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and at least 3 years of steam or equipment operations experience, with the ability to obtain the City of Tulsa Stationary

Qualifications

• Requires 3 years’ experience in steam or equipment operations and maintenance.
• Knowledge of boiler and chilled water plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions per company policies.
• Operate machinery and perform preventive maintenance per manuals and specs.
• Install, repair, replace, and troubleshoot plant equipment including piping, valves, pumps, and boilers.
• Identify, report and correct unsafe work environments and ensure safe operations.
• Work overtime as required and participate in operator qualification training.
