Job summary

Bohemia Manor Farm is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations for the Manor House and Vintner's Cottage, ensuring luxury cleanliness and presentation standards.

You will supervise room attendants, manage schedules, and coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance to meet guest needs and VIP arrivals. The role requires prior supervisory housekeeping experience and strong leadership, with flexibility for weekends and holidays.

• Supervise, train, and coach Room Attendants and housekeeping staff on daily assignments and cleanliness standards.
• Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure quality and brand standards.
• Create and manage daily room assignments and staffing schedules based on occupancy.
• Monitor and manage housekeeping supply inventory, placing orders as needed.
• Address guest requests, concerns, or service recovery situations related to housekeeping.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance teams on room status and VIP arrivals.
• Ensure compliance with safety, chemical-handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of new housekeeping team members.
• Step in to assist with room cleaning or turnover during high-occupancy periods.

Position Overview

The Housekeeping Supervisor leads and supports the daily operations of the housekeeping team at Bohemia Manor Farm, ensuring guest rooms, suites, and public spaces across the Manor House and Vintner's Cottage consistently meet Vivamee's luxury cleanliness and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and coach Room Attendants and housekeeping staff on daily assignments and cleanliness standards
• Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure quality and brand standards are consistently met
• Create and manage daily room assignments and staffing schedules based on occupancy
• Monitor and manage housekeeping supply inventory, placing orders as needed
• Address guest requests, concerns, or service recovery situations related to housekeeping
• Coordinate with the Front Desk and Maintenance teams on room status, VIP arrivals, and maintenance needs
• Ensure compliance with safety, chemical-handling, and sanitation procedures
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of new housekeeping team members
• Step in to assist with room cleaning or turnover during high-occupancy periods as needed

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience required, including at least 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role, preferably in a hotel, resort, or luxury hospitality setting
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to train others to a consistent standard
• Proficiency with basic scheduling and inventory tools
• Strong communication skills and a guest-first mindset
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods, including during room inspections
• Ability to move throughout the property, including multiple buildings and floors
