Ladybird Taco is hiring Kitchen Team Members (Cook, Line Cook, or Prep Cook) to join a fast-paced kitchen focused on great food and hospitality. You’ll prepare tacos, sides, and proteins while upholding high safety and cleanliness standards, and you’ll collaborate closely with a caring, hungry team.

You’ll report to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager and have opportunities for advancement as you grow into culinary or leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook, line cook or prep cook is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrates teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Familiar with food safety standards.
• Able to obtain a food handler’s permit.
• Comfortable using kitchen tools and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook tacos, sides, and proteins to Ladybird standards
• Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and quality procedures
• Keep prep, line, and dish areas clean and organized
• Restock and rotate ingredients throughout service and communicate with teammates to keep the line flowing
• Receive and put away deliveries
• Support the team wherever needed – everyone pitches in

Position Overview

As a Kitchen Team Member – Cook, Line Cook, or Prep Cook, you’ll be part of the heartbeat of Ladybird Taco. You’ll prepare and cook delicious food, maintain high standards of quality and safety, and support your teammates in a fun, fast‑paced kitchen environment. You’ll report to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, and live out our core values of being Caring, Humble, and Hungry every day.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and cook tacos, sides, and proteins to Ladybird standards
• Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and quality procedures
• Keep prep, line, and dish areas clean and organized

Who You Are

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable operating kitchen tools and equipment
• Able to follow directions accurately and efficiently
• Work safely around cleaning chemicals and hot equipment
