Job summary

YKTA in Alabama seeks a capable supervisor to assist the Group Leader by coordinating activities of the Body Weld department, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production. You will support training, record-keeping, and problem solving on the plant floor.

Responsibilities include communicating directives, maintaining production records, and reporting equipment issues. The role requires flexibility to rotate shifts and a strong commitment to safety and attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow instructions.
• Must have working knowledge of all processes in Body Weld.
• Must be currently working in Body Weld.
• Personal computer and software skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Group Leader in coordinating activities of department.
• Ensure safety of self and others and wear PPE.
• Communicate Group Leader’s directions to Team Members.
• Coordinate activities to meet production schedules with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Analyze work problems and recommend solutions to Group Leader.
• Train Team Members in departmental functions.
• Maintain production records and report malfunctions to Maintenance.
• Perform activities of Team Members as needed and maintain reporting.
• Regular attendance and rotating shifts are required.
