Job summary

Allard Collision, part of Open Road Collision group, seeks a motivated Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with quality repairs and customer care. You will follow repair orders and work with a team to bring vehicles back to OEM specifications.

The role emphasizes safety, QC inspections, and the use of frame machines, welding, and body panel repairs, with opportunities for growth and I-CAR and OEM certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of collision repair experience.
• I-CAR Certification in body repair and welding preferred.
• OEM certification and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes valued.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret repair data and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair progress and requirements.
• Complete welding, frame/unibody alignment, body panel repairs, and cosmetic work.
• Operate frame machines and other shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct Quality Control (QC) inspections upon completion of work.
• Mix chemicals and materials per manufacturer specifications.
• Adapt to a blueprint-style production model—may not disassemble vehicles personally.
