Job summary

OpenRoad Collision is seeking a motivated Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition while ensuring quality workmanship and customer care. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety protocols, and adherence to OEM repair processes.

Minimum 1 year of collision repair experience is required; I-CAR body repair and welding certifications are preferred. The candidate should be detail-oriented, able to interpret repair data, and possess a valid driver's license for shop

• I-CAR Certification in body repair and welding preferred.
• OEM certification and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes highly valued.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret repair data and measurements.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate vehicles legally.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality workmanship.
• Positive, dependable, and customer-focused mindset.
• Proficient in the use of standard shop tools and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders in line with manufacturer and industry standards
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair progress and requirements
• Complete welding, frame/unibody alignment, body panel repairs, and cosmetic work
• Operate frame machines and other shop equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Conduct Quality Control (QC) inspections upon completion of work
• Mix chemicals and materials per manufacturer specifications
• Adapt to a blueprint-style production model—may not disassemble vehicles personally

As part of the Open Road Collision group DBA Frank's Collision, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality collision repair services with exceptional customer care. Our team is dedicated to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while making the repair process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our customers. We're currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Body Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders in line with manufacturer and industry standards
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair progress and requirements
