Job summary

Bluebonnet Collision Center in New Braunfels, TX is seeking an experienced Collision Body Technician to perform high-quality repairs in a fast-paced dealership collision center.

Qualifications

  • Minimum professional collision repair experience.
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand repair estimates.
  • Experience with structural and non-structural repairs.
  • I-CAR, ASE or OEM certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to properly use collision repair tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable and dependable.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality collision repairs according to OEM repair procedures.
  • Diagnose and repair collision damage to vehicle structures and body components.
  • Remove and install body panels, bumpers, lamps, moldings, and other components.
  • Perform sheet metal repairs and panel replacement.
  • Perform structural and non-structural repairs.
  • Measure vehicles and verify proper structural alignment.
  • Perform welding and sectioning according to OEM procedures.
  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicles correctly.
  • Work closely with estimators, production managers and other technicians.
  • Identify additional damage and communicate repair needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
  • Follow OEM procedures and Bluebonnet quality standards.

COLLISION BODY TECHNICIAN

JOIN OUR TEAM

Bluebonnet Collision Center is looking for an experienced, motivated Collision Body Technician to join our growing team.

We are looking for a technician who takes pride in quality repairs, understands proper collision repair procedures, and wants to work in a professional, organized dealership collision center.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Perform high-quality collision repairs according to OEM repair procedures
  • Diagnose and repair collision damage to vehicle structures and body components
  • Remove and install body panels, bumpers, lamps, moldings, grilles and other components
  • Perform sheet metal repairs and panel replacement
  • Perform structural and non-structural repairs
  • Measure vehicles and verify proper structural alignment
  • Perform welding and sectioning according to OEM procedures
  • Properly disassemble and reassemble vehicles
  • Work closely with estimators, production managers and other technicians
  • Identify additional damage and communicate repair needs

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous professional collision repair experience
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair procedures
  • Ability to read and understand repair estimates
  • Experience with structural and non-structural repairs
  • Welding experience preferred
  • I-CAR, ASE or OEM certifications are a plus
  • Ability to properly use collision repair tools and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Entry-level technicians with the right attitude and mechanical aptitude may also be considered.
