LEWIS COLLISION CENTER INC is seeking a Shop Helper at our Springdale, AR location. This entry-level role offers hands-on training alongside skilled technicians, helping with disassembly, parts removal, and prep work.

You’ll learn body and paint prep, safety procedures, and shop organization as you contribute to timely repairs. No collision repair experience is required; bring a good attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• No collision repair experience required; eagerness to learn.
• Ability to follow directions and work with experienced technicians.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on shop environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians with vehicle disassembly, parts removal, and repair preparation.
• Help install replacement parts and complete basic repair tasks under technician supervision.
• Learn and assist with sanding, masking, filling, priming, and preparing vehicles for body and paint work.
• Clean and prepare vehicles before and after repairs.
• Organize parts and make sure technicians have what they need to keep repairs moving.
• Keep the shop, tools, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Help move vehicles around the facility and occasionally assist with vehicle pickup or delivery.
• Follow safety procedures and work as part of a team to get the job done right.

• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on shop environment.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Can stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS — BUT NOT REQUIRED

Previous experience in automotive repair, mechanics, collision repair, bodywork, or a technical/trade program is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
