Job summary

Liberty Collision Center in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a full-time Collision Repair Technician to repair vehicles per estimates and OEM procedures. You will restore structural and body components, read and interpret job orders, and work with a team in a high-production environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in collision repair or a related program, reads orders accurately, uses a frame machine, and can lift up to 70 lb. Benefits include health, vision, PTO, holidays, 401(k), and training.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of collision repair experience or completion of a technical program or apprenticeship.
  • Knowledge of repair processes and OEM procedures.
  • Able to read and work from job orders and estimates with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Experience using a frame machine; I-CAR welding certification preferred.
  • Capable of lifting up to 35 lb regularly and 70 lb occasionally; able to work in a fast-paced shop.

  • Restore panels and components to pre-accident condition using specialized tools.
  • Communicate repair needs, delays, or changes to management.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Repair vehicles according to the estimate and established quality standards, including removing damaged parts and installing replacements
  • Restore body panels, structural components, and outer body parts to pre-accident condition using specialized tools and equipment
  • Communicate with management regarding additional repairs needed, potential delays, or changes to promised completion times
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and operate all equipment safely
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at all times
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment, including eye protection
  • Assist team members with repair and vehicle preparation as needed based on schedule and workload
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations governing body shop operations, including hazardous waste disposal
