Job summary

Conway Heaton Inc. is seeking a part-time Body Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety conscious, and committed to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision and efficiency.

The position is flexible for those starting their automotive career or seeking fewer hours. Pay scales with experience, and opportunities for training and growth are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in body shop/automotive repair is a plus but not required.
• ASE or I-CAR certifications are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Own basic technician tools and maintain a safe workspace.

Responsibilities

• Repair, refinish, and restore vehicles to factory standards.
• Perform welding, soldering, body alignment, and frame work.
• Inspect vehicles and communicate additional repair needs.
• Road-test vehicles for quality assurance.
• Document work accurately and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and factory procedures.
• Mentor or guide apprentice technicians as needed.
