Job summary

Pine Belt CDJR MS in Mississippi is seeking an experienced auto body technician to perform inspection, disassembly, and repair of damaged vehicles. You will assess damage, select parts, and ensure precise alignment and restoration to factory specifications.

Work collaboratively with estimators and shop staff to maintain efficient repair cycles while upholding quality standards and safety regulations. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail in a fast-paced collision facility.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of verifiable hands-on auto body repair experience in a professional collision facility.
• I-CAR or ASE certifications preferred.
• Proficient with frame-measuring equipment, welding tools, and reading technical repair manuals.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Inspection & Disassembly: Perform complete tear-downs of damaged vehicles, match parts against repair estimates, and identify hidden or additional structural/mechanical issues.
• Structural & Body Repair: Straighten bent frames, align unibody components using frame-measuring systems, and hammer out or fill dents.
• Parts Replacement & Welding: Remove damaged panels, glass, or parts and weld, bolt, or bond new OEM replacement parts into position.
• Workflow & Quality Control: Coordinate with estimators, painters, and parts staff to maintain efficient repair cycle times and inspect finished work.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized work bay and follow all OSHA, EPA, and dealership safety rules when handling tools and hazardous materials.
