Job summary

Bell Ford Collision Center in Phoenix, AZ is actively seeking experienced Body Shop Technicians to join our Berge Group team. The role involves autobody repair to pre-accident condition, disassembly for estimator input, sourcing parts, and maintaining a safe, efficient work site.

A valid driver's license, own tools, and 2+ years’ experience are required; Reynolds and Reynolds software experience is a plus. We offer comprehensive benefits and a path for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of collision repair technician experience.
• Able to perform mechanical and frame work.
• I-CAR certifications a plus.
• Must have own tools.
• Driver's license required.
• Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicles to assist estimators and prepare a 100% repair plan.
• Identify repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Source parts as needed to save cost and cycle time.
• Keep vehicles on schedule for on-time delivery.
• Follow safety and quality control procedures.
• Keep work area organized and dispose of hazardous waste properly.

Bell Ford Collision Center (I-17 and Bell Road) needs Body Shop Technicians to join our team.

Autobody Technicians repair vehicles thoroughly, and safely to pre-accident condition, according to the written repair order with efficiency and accuracy.

• Complete dis-assembly of vehicles in order to assist Estimators in assessing damage to prepare a 100% Repair Plan
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time
• Assists in identifying and sourcing parts as necessary, to determine when damaged parts can be safely repaired for cost and cycle-time savings.
• Know status of assigned vehicles, to keep vehicles on schedule for on-time delivery.
• Follows all quality control requirements by keeping a safe and organized workplace and utilizing all required safety equipment in accordance with proper repair procedures.
• Keep work area organized by returning tools, materials, parts and equipment to designated areas or carts.
• Adhering to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal.

Qualifications:

• Two or more years of related experience as a Collision Repair Technician.
• Must be able to do Mechanical and Framework.
• I-Car Certifications in auto body repair would be a plus
• Be able to produce top quality results and take pride in your work
• Positive attitude
• Must have your own tools
• Due to the nature of the job driver license is required.

• Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software preferred.
