Job summary

Bell Ford Collision Center in Phoenix, AZ seeks experienced Body Shop Technicians to join our team. Autobody repair work to pre-accident condition is required, following repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.

Disassembly for estimators, parts sourcing to save time and cost, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace are key duties. A driver license is required and I-CAR certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience as a Collision Repair Technician.
• Must be able to do Mechanical and Frame work.
• I-CAR Certifications in auto body repair would be a plus.
• Be able to produce top quality results and take pride in your work.
• Positive attitude
• Must have your own tools
• Driver license is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete dis-assembly of vehicle in order to assist Estimators in assessing damage to prepare a 100% Repair Plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
• Assists in identifying and sourcing parts as necessary, to determine when damaged parts can be safely repaired for cost and cycle-time savings.
• Know status of assigned vehicles, to keep vehicles on schedule for on-time delivery.
• Follows all quality control requirements by keeping a safe and organized workplace and utilizing all required safety equipment in accordance with proper repair procedures.
• Keep work area organized by returning tools, materials, parts and equipment to designated areas or carts.
• Adhering to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal.
