A Body Shop Technician will repair or replace damaged body parts back to pre-accident condition, meeting factory and dealership specifications. The repair should be of high quality, with an invisible finish.

Responsibilities:

1. Review repair orders, work orders, and estimator notes to understand repair needs before starting work.
2. Complete all repairs according to documentation and specifications.
3. Follow manufacturer’s and technical repair processes.
4. Use frame and measuring equipment as per vendor procedures.
5. Perform initial vehicle teardown.
6. Identify parts for cut-in and edging.
7. Perform repairs according to factory standards and company policy, including I-Car Standards.
8. Conduct quality checks before sending vehicles to the paint department.
9. Reassemble painted parts and vehicles.
10. Perform final quality review before vehicle moves to detail.
11. Assist and develop skills of apprentice or less experienced technicians.
