Summary/Objective

This position is responsible for bringing vehicles back to factory standards.

Essential Functions

  • Perform work on vehicles including removing parts, sanding, priming, taping, buffing, welding, and installation.
  • Responsible for doing sheet metal work.
  • Effective communicator in listening, writing, and verbal.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize competing responsibilities.
  • Punctual and dependable person.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct reports.

Work Environment

Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office, production setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions.

Physical Demands

Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position may require overtime.

Travel

This position does not have any travel requirements.

Required Education and Experience

One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Credential).

Must have own tools.
