Job summary

Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Klamath Falls is seeking a skilled Body Shop Paint Technician to join our professional shop. Earn $25.00–$30.00 per flat-rate hour, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with room to grow through hands-on refinishing work on a variety of vehicles.

Bring 2+ years in auto paint, knowledge of prep, color matching and masking, and a safety-first mindset. We provide tools, training, and a team that values precision and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as automotive paint technician or in a professional body shop.
• Strong knowledge of paint preparation, color matching, mixing, and refinishing techniques.
• Ability to inspect, prepare, mask, and refinish vehicles according to manufacturer and shop standards.
• Familiarity with paint equipment, tools, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia, manufacturer, and insurance standards.
• Edge all parts immediately upon drop off by metal technician.
• Review work completed to ensure quality of paint job.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order.
• Return special tools to proper place.
• Use paint supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
• Ensure that customer\'s vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
• Maintain up-to-date proficiency by attending training on the latest repair techniques and materials.
