Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Klamath Falls is seeking a Body Shop Paint Technician. Competitive pay is $25.00 to $30.00 per flat rate hour, depending on experience. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

You will apply paint prep, color matching, and refinishing techniques on a variety of vehicles, maintain safety and quality standards, and document work on repair orders. Join a professional, team-oriented shop that values craftsmanship and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as an automotive paint technician or in a professional body shop environment
• Strong knowledge of paint preparation, color matching, mixing, and refinishing techniques
• Familiarity with paint equipment, tools, and safety procedures
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and meeting repair timelines
• Willingness to continue learning and stay current with evolving paint products, technology, and repair techniques

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work per repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Edge all parts immediately upon drop off by metal technician; review work to ensure quality of paint job; document on repair order.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace; daily stall cleaning.
• Use paint supplies safely and economically; attend training to stay current with techniques.

What You'll Do

Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia, manufacturer, and insurance standards. Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements. Edge all parts immediately upon drop off by metal technician Review work completed to ensure quality of paint job. Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures. Document work performed on repair order. Return special tools to proper place. Use paint supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner. Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day. Ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced. Maintain up-to-date proficiency by attending training on the latest repair techniques and materials.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years as an automotive paint technician or in a professional body shop environment
• Strong knowledge of paint preparation, color matching, mixing, and refinishing techniques
• Ability to properly inspect, prepare, mask, and refinish vehicles according to manufacturer and shop standards
• Familiarity with paint equipment, tools, and safety procedures
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and meeting repair timelines
• Willingness to continue learning and stay current with evolving paint products, technology, and repair techniques
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
