Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking a Body Shop Clerk to provide administrative support for body shop operations. You will greet customers, direct them to needed resources, answer calls, and process payments while ensuring accuracy and high service levels.

The role requires good communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment. Full-time position with opportunities for growth within Asbury's service network.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years of age
• Must pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)
• Strong customer-service orientation
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented and accurate with cash handling

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they arrive in a pleasant and professional manner
• Direct customers to resources that meet their needs
• Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously
• Screen calls and obtain information for follow-up as needed
• Receive and record cash, checks, and credit card payments
• Reconcile cash drawer daily as directed by accounting
• File repair orders and open/close repair orders for vehicles
• Operate office equipment and computer systems as needed
• Maintain customer satisfaction at or above company standards
• Communicate effectively and work well in a team
• Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly
