Job summary

You will lead shop workflow, review estimates, coordinate with insurers, and provide hands-on support to technicians, with strong leadership and communication skills required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Collision shop.
• 3+ years in a leadership role or service writer role.
• Customer service and leadership qualities.
• Driver’s License required, CDL a plus.
• Proficient in the use of a personal computer and basic applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technicians in repairing light to heavy-duty trucks per Technical Manual procedures.
• Communicate with customers and provide updates.
• Work with Insurance adjusters to obtain repair approvals.
• Provide technical support to service office and customers.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate problems and resolutions to supervisor and customers.
• Oversee tagging of warranty parts and write warranty stories.
• Test drive repaired vehicles.
• Assist technicians with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Distribute repair orders fairly matching technician skillsets.
• Manage shop workflow.
• Review and adjust repair estimates.
• Assist with other projects as needed.
