The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our nextAutomotiveCollision Shop Estimatorlocated at Wayzata Collision Center, theAutomotive Collision Shop Estimator Traineeisresponsible for estimating and calculating the cost to repair a vehicle, to replace vehicle parts, or the entire vehicle.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write Estimates & Supplements: Review vehicle damage and write quality estimates using CCC One estimating system.
• Uponteardown, work with triage team and senior technician to write a supplement based on discoveries.
• Create a repair plan for the technician and pull any TIS/repair documents needed for repair. (Any weld on panels MUST have TIS documentation). All supplements are to be submitted within 24 hours.
• Work with insurance companies to manage claim and negotiate pricing if needed.
• Customer Service: Update all guests on a regular basis. All guests need to know of any changes with their repair throughout the process.
• Parts Ordering: Work with Parts Manager to order/locate all parts needed for repair.
• Quality Check: Review all finalized work to ensure all work performed meets or exceeds the standards of The Wayzata Auto Center Collision Repair.
• File Reconciliation: Review your file to make sure all documents are up-to-date, all signatures are captured and proper documentation is in file.
• Assist with completing documents associated with the needed repair and insurance details.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to accurately estimate vehicle damage-preferred
• Ability to use our automated system to order parts-preferred
• Properly follow insurance company Direct Repair guidelines-required
• Experience with CCC and CDK estimating platforms-preferred
• Experience in the estimating/body shop/automotive field-preferred
• Valid Driver’s License-required
