Job summary

County Line Auto Body is seeking an Estimator to assess vehicle damage and produce accurate estimates. The role requires inspecting vehicles, creating detailed repair plans, and coordinating with technicians, suppliers, and insurers to ensure quality work and customer satisfaction.

You will explain estimates clearly to customers, propose repair options, timelines, and prices while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in automotive repair, business management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as an estimator or in a related position within automotive repair or body shop.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to identify damage and assess repair scope.
• Prepare detailed repair plans outlining labor, parts, materials, and time.
• Collaborate with technicians to verify estimate accuracy and feasibility.
• Communicate estimates and repair options to customers clearly and professionally.
• Liaise with insurance companies to facilitate claims and approvals.
• Monitor repair progress and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
