The Voss Collision Centre in Centerville, OH is seeking a full-time Body Shop Estimator to greet customers and provide fair, detailed insurance claim cost and time appraisals.

Responsibilities include updating customers, reviewing estimates with the shop manager, preparing insurance forms, writing competitive estimates within insurers' timeframes, processing paperwork, and performing final vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Strong computer skills required daily.
• Ability to compute ratios, percentages, and rates.
• Able to read and understand directions, data, and SOPs from insurance companies and Voss Collision Centre.
• Training will be provided to succeed as a body shop estimator.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and provide fair, detailed cost and time appraisals for insurance claims.
• Keep customers informed of progress and any changes with strong follow-through.
• Review repair cost estimates with the body shop manager.
• Prepare insurance forms indicating repair cost estimates and recommendations.
• Write competitive estimates for insurance companies within each insurer's time frame.
• Process all paperwork timely and accurately.
• Perform final vehicle inspection after all work is completed.

The Body Shop Estimator is responsible for greeting all customers promptly and giving fair and detailed cost and time appraisals required for bodywork on damaged vehicles for insurance claim settlement.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the customer informed of the progress and any changes that arise. Will use your excellent customer service and follow-through skills.
• Reviewing repair cost estimates with the body shop manager.
• Preparing insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
• Writing competitive estimates for insurance companies within each insurance company's time frame.
• Getting all paperwork processed timely and accurate.
• Preparing final invoice and any supplements prior to the customer arriving to pick up the vehicle.
• Final inspection of the vehicle after all work is performed.

Qualifications

• The body shop estimator requires a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• You will use your strong computer skills every day
• Being able to compute ratios, percentages, and rates is used daily.
• You will need to be able to read and understand directions, data, and SOPs that are required by the insurance companies and the Voss Collision Centre.
